STEPS IN ONLINE ENROLLMENT/REGISTRATION
  • Visit the website of the school www.bobbyandkatesacademyedu.net
  • Go to the “ADMISSION” page of the website.
  • Read ADMISSION page. Copy/Download the LEARNER ENROLLMENT AND SURVEY FORM and shall be answered by the parent/guardian of the learner.  Please read carefully and fill in all applicable spaces.  For items not applicable, write “not applicable” (N/A).
  • Make sure that the form is in MS WORD or PDF format.
  • Send the accomplished ENROLLMENT AND SURVEY FORM on the school official email: [email protected]
  • Wait for the reply email from [email protected] with attachment regarding the required school tuition fee to be deposited on the bank.
  • Deposit the amount required at the bank account number XXX XXX XXX. Double check the account name and its account number.
  • After paying the required tuition fee, write the name of the LEARNER and GRADE LEVEL on the deposit slip. Scan or take a photograph of  the deposit slip and send it to the school email:  [email protected]
  • Wait for the confirmation email with the following attachment: Official Receipt (OR) of payment, schedule of classes, and other important information.

BOBBY AND KATES ACADEMY MODE OF INSTRUCTIONAL DELIVERY FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2021-2022

  1. WILL BKA HOLD ONLINE CLASSES?

Yes.  Blended learning  will be utilized for students with strong, weak and no internet connection along with the use of modular approach. Blended learning  is the combination of on line learning, home-based learning, distance learning and not the traditional face to face learning in the classroom.

  1. HOW WILL BKA HOLD ONLINE CLASSES?

On line classes will be composed of activities that include pre-recorded videos/ audio and teacher made modular lesson to be sent on line  thru email, You Tube Unlisted Cloud of the school and can be watch/listen on the Kabata Network page of the website. Also, there will be activities that include on line discussion, conference, chat, call and text messaging for consultation depending on the class schedule.

  1. WHAT IF I HAVE NO INTERNET CONNECTION AT HOME?  WHAT LEARNING PACKAGE  IS AVAILABLE?

There will be a teacher made modular lesson combined with pre-recorded videos and textbooks (pre-ordered).

  1. WHAT IS THE BKA INSTRUCTIONAL DELIVERY PACKAGE?

BKA instructional package includes  teacher designed modules based  on the most  Essential Competencies set by the DepED  and K-12 Curriculum Guide. In addition, Assessment are to be done in print to be submitted either on line, courier, pick up/drop off arrangement as per schedule. Online meeting, conference activities will be done  to all students based on a given schedule, if need arises.

  1. HOW ON LINE LEARNING TAKES PLACE?

Students will only take a maximum of 2-3 hour screen time for the learning activities for Intermediate and Secondary level and for the preschool and primary level 1-2 hour maximum. The students will be on a flexible  and self-paced approach.  It will depend on how the students with parent’s supervision can finish the performance task / output.

  1. WHAT HOME LEARNING MATERIALS  PARENTS  NEED  TO PREPARE?

Reference textbook ( pre-ordered)
Smart phone / tablet / lap top  or desk top
USB Flash Drive 16GB up
Printer (optional)
Internet connection with wifi  or cellular  data ( data package for smart, globe prepaid/ post paid plans)

  1. WHAT TYPE OF ASSESSMENT WILL BE GIVEN TO THE STUDENTS?

Teachers will make use of formative and summative assessments anchored in the grading period provided by DepEd (K-12).

  1. HOW LONG WILL THE INSTRUCTION TAKE PLACE PER SUBJECT?

Maximum of 1 hour for pre-schoolers.
Maximum of  3 hours for Grade 1-12.
The length of time of instruction that will take place depends on the students mode to learn with parent’s supervision.
Submission  of outputs will be conducted for immediate feedback  and assessment.

  1. WILL ALL THE USUAL PRESCRIBED SUBJECTS BE COVERED?

Yes, all required subjects will be taught alternately within the week  making use of the DepEd’s Most Essential Learning Competencies (K-12).

  1. WILL THERE BE OBSERVANCE OF ATTENDANCE?

Attendance will be check thru the punctuality  in the submission  of the outputs to be checked and monitored.

  1. HOW OPEN WILL THE PARENT-SCHOOL COMMUNICATION TAKE PLACE?

The school  will establish a monthly conference  with parents (Saturday).  However for urgent cases, the school will delegate  the school’s GUIDANCE COUNSELOR/ OFFICER IN CHARGE by schedule to respond to parent’s immediate  academic concern ON LINE.

  1. HOW SAFE WILL THE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT OF THE SCHOOL FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR BE?

The school has decided the online distance learning  to fully lessen the worry of parents who still wishes  to let their children continue their studies.  The school  created the Learning Continuity  Plan along with COVID 19 contingency plan establishing on line learning protocols and guidelines for parents, students and teachers/ school personnel.

Post GCQ plans are also prepared to cater other school concerns in case the country has been safe for face to face learning with staggered learning ( by schedules/shift ) will be considered with limited number of students per class following  the physical distancing.

  1. IF THERE IS NO ONE IN THE FAMILY TO ASSIST THE YOUNG CHILDREN  ON LINE DISTANCE LEARNING?

Grade school need an adult  supervision to any one trusted at home to take the supervision role.  Moreover,  with the consistent implementation  of the regular learning routine as well as imposed discipline, the children may  develop  learning independence  as the time passed by.

  1. IF THE GOVERNMENT ALLOWED ACTUAL CLASS SCHOOLING – FACE TO FACE SET UP, DO PARENTS  HAVE THE CHOICE  TO AVAIL THE  ONLINE DISTANCE LEARNING?

Yes in case , the IATF with the DOH and DEPED allowed the actual  class set up (face to face), BKA will continue the on line distance learning.  It will be the discretion of the parents  to let the children  come to school for the staggered learning.   

SIMPLIFIED BLENDED LEARNING MODALITY

For Preschool to Grade 3

     ONLINE CLASS OPTION (with internet and computer)

  • Delivery of lesson for preschool is by means of video. The video lecture is seen on the CLASSROOM page of the school’s website www.bobbyandkatesacademyedu.net
  • The video is stored on the you tube unlisted cloud, meaning it is not totally for public viewing but if the school share the link, you can watch it outside of the school website.
  • The video will be available everyday as long as the link is active as per schedule.
  • The video schedule is in a weekly basis made by the subject teacher.
  • The schedule will be posted on the classroom page every Friday of each week.
  • Audio lecture is also available. It can be heard in the school’s website classroom page.
  • The audio lecture will be available everyday as long as the link is active as per schedule.
  • The schedule of audio lecture is in a weekly basis made by the subject teacher.
  • The learners are given 5 days to access all the video audio lectures on the website.
  • The video lecture and audio lecture will expire after a week (Classroom page of the website)
  • Text lecture like power point presentation, PDF etc. is also available
  • New text lectures and some of the new video audio lectures will be emailed to the learners and parents email every Saturday and Sunday.
  • During quizzes, assignments, exercises. Questions are sent via email by the subject teacher.
  • Learners answer can be uploaded in the classroom page of the website per grade level.
  • Learners answer can be also sent to dedicated official email of the subject teacher.
  • Learners answer must pass thru to the dedicated official email so that it can be considered authentic.
  • In answering online quizzes, assignment, exercises the learner must practice online HONESTY.
  • Attendance will be based on the promptness of the submitted answer.
     USB FLASHDRIVE DROP BOX OPTION (no internet but have computer)
  • Audio video text lectures are stored on usb flash drive 16 GB up.
  • The usb flash drive must be new and virus free.
  • The usb flash drive will be place on the Drop Box located on the school’s front
  • The usb flash drive must be in the drop box every Friday of the week and it will be available for pick up every Monday.
  • The delivery of usb flash drive must be done by the parent or any adult allowed to go out.
  • The usb flash drive must be sanitized using alcohol and must be place it inside a small plastic bag.
  • On the small plastic bag write the name and grade level of the learner.
  • During quizzes, assignments, exercises. Question folder is included in the usb flash drive made by the teacher in advance.
  • Learners answer must be included in the usb flash drive so that the subject teacher can check.

     

    PRINTED MATERIAL OPTION (no internet no computer no printer)
    This is a PAID option, not for FREE.
  • Text books are in in pre order basis.
  • Printed modular lesson.
  • The lesson is in printed form.
  • The printed form is available for pick up every Friday and Monday.
  • It must be picked up by the parent or any adult allowed to go out.
  • The printed material will be place in a sanitized plastic bag.
  • Learners quizzes, assignments, exercises are printed.

    NO PARENT/ADULT SUPERVISION AT HOME OPTION
    Subject teacher is prohibited to be a private tutor of his/her student
  • Parent of learner can hire private tutor.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ENROLLMENT

Credentials submitted for enrollment become part of the school records and cannot be withdrawn after registration.

The student is required to submit the following credentials.

  1. Form 138 ( Progress Report Card) – new student
  2. Form 137/ SF 10 ( Student’s Permanent Record )- new student
  3. Birth Certificate (NSO/ PSA) – old  and new student
  4. Certificate of Good Moral Character – new student
  5. Medical Certificate ( if necessary) –old and new student
  6. 2×2 ID picture ( 2pcs) latest (not over 6 months) – old and new student

Since we are now in the “NEW NORMAL” please submit the above requirements in a brown envelope via courier ( LBC, To Go, etc.)

PRESCHOOL
  1. Pass the interview.
  2. Pass the entrance examination.
  3. Submit the certificate of attendance in the previous school.
  4. Submit the requirements. Example.
  5. Submit birth certificate (NSO), etc.
  6. Submit medical certificate if needed
GRADE SCHOOL
  1. Complete Kinder and/or Prep (For Grade 1 applicants)
  2. Pass the interview.
  3. Pass the entrance examination.
  4. Have a Good Moral Character.
  5. Submit birth certificate (NSO)
  6. Submit Report Card (Form 138) duly accomplished and signed by the Principal of the school last attended.
  7. Be 6 to 7 years old in grade 1 and proportionally order in the succeeding grades.
  8. Submit medical certificate if needed.
HIGH SCHOOL (JUNIOR AND SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL)
  1. Complete elementary. (For first year applicant)
  2. Pass the interview.
  3. Pass the entrance examination.
  4. Have a good moral character.
  5. Submit Xerox copy of birth certificate (NSO).
  6. Submit Report Card (Form 138) duly accomplished and signed by the Principal of School last attended.
  7. Submit medical certificate if needed.
