BRIEF HISTORY OF BOBBY AND KATES ACADEMY

L. San Diego St., Canumay, Valenzuela has only one public school that caters to voluminous number of pupils. Through the help and support of some professionals in the community BOBBY AND KATES KINDERGARTEN was opened in January 1987. Two session tutorial classes were created to extend services to children who will enroll to grade one level. The children in the community were given the privilege of early childhood education.

In June 1989, a formal school for elementary level was offered in the name of BOBBY AND KATES MONTESSORI. It’s Government Recognition was awarded by the Department of Education Culture and Sports on December 17, 1993 for Nursery and Kindergarten Course; December 4, 1995 for Complete Elementary Course.

On June 1998, BOBBY AND KATES ACADEMY has its first opening of secondary course and prospered until the government has recognized the school for its excellent performance in the field of education.

It is indeed remarkable that BOBBY AND KATES ACADEMY has its first Commencement Exercise for Secondary level on March 30, 2001.

On July 7, 2017 BOBBY AND KATES ACADEMY managed and operated KaBata Network to provide its students a laboratory that will enhance their skills in many ways — speech and technical laboratory, media and information literacy.

Now, the school is offering Senior High School (grade 11 and 12) courses such as:

• Accountancy Business Management (ABM)
• Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS)
• Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
• Electronics, Electrical installation and Maintenance.
